Almost a pre-dev log / blog thing. June 11th, 2026

I’ve started working more on the site while “working” since making my NeoCities months ago, and thinking about it for a longer time before then. I’ve liked the idea of having a website, but really didn’t want to put the work in, like most things.

While working on the site, I think about how many other websites I see, where there’s about a year or two of blog posts from about a year or two ago, and then that’s it. I suppose that on the big social media sites, you don’t follow specific users as much, and when they stop interacting, there’s no obvious point where they stopped, unlike a last entry in a diary / blog. When a youtuber uploads their last video, their videos just stop showing up in your subscriptions. A personal website, is, well, much more personal, so when someone quits that personal project, it becomes really obvious to anyone who comes across it later, especially if they just leave a dated blog.

So often the last blog post is “I’m working on some big things for the site”. They’re allowed to stop caring, I just wish more web masters didn’t leave it with a broken promise. I don’t care if you’re working on big things, I only care about the big things that have been finished.

Regarding my site, obviously its on NeoCities right now, babies first website hoster. I don’t want to promise anything that isn’t already here. As far as you’re concerned, however you found my site could be how it looks when I forget about it, and stop updating it. I don’t promise anything you don’t already see.
